The Wogenweg begins on the lakeside path of the Hennesee, directly below the H1 restaurant on the lake at the Berghauser Bucht (bathing bay).

A path, located on the shore of the Hennesee, where twelve steles present changing poems according to theme and can be read during the walk. Creating such a cultural offering for everyone, which can be used regardless of their financial means, pandemic restrictions and time constraints, was a major concern of the three initiators, who have dedicated themselves with great pleasure to reciting and staging poems for years.

They agree that reading poetry between the forest and water in the sun, wind and weather is good for body, mind and soul!

The path is approx. 2.5 km long, barrier-free and three benches invite you to linger. The three women are certain that the Wogenweg is a great addition to the town of Meschede and is popular with locals and tourists alike. A change of theme and poem is planned quarterly and will be announced on this page and in the newspaper.

The path makes you want to read poems in a beautiful landscape, to trace your thoughts and let the forest, water and words take effect on you.
