Numerous events take place on the EMS Hennesee: Brunch, parties and culinary events. There is even a Christmas market on the ship during the Advent season.
The previous MS Hennesee was sold, technically overhauled and is now in service on Lake Berzdorf near Görlitz
. The Hennesee is particularly popular with sporty guests, with cyclists, inline skaters and Nordic walkers out and about on its eastern shore. On warm days, swimmers can be found in the bathing bay, and it is known as a good fishing spot for anglers. Technology enthusiasts can visit the inside of the dam and take a close look at the machines, pumps and turbines.
