The castle-like building Haus Dassel stands at the entrance to the leisure park in Warstein-Allagen. This building was founded by Viktor Röper, who established an iron and chain factory here after 1840. Today, the building is used by various associations and serves as a local history museum and cultural center. In February 1887, the marble manufacturer Georg Dassel took over the building. The success of the new marble business prompted the founder, Georg Dassel, to extend his home and office building considerably and to decorate it more prestigiously. In 1900, he added the massive tower, created new offices and adorned the house on both sides with a stepped gable. The interior of the house was richly decorated with marble. The magnificent stucco ceiling in the drawing room deserves special mention. After the then municipality of Allagen acquired the factory site and the villa in 1972, the old factory buildings were demolished in 1974 and the site was transformed into a park. The marble and granite stones in the park are reminiscent of the Dassel marble factory. The municipality handed over the beautiful house and park to local associations as a place for meetings and education.
