The Waldroute takes you along wonderful panoramic paths through the villages of Allagen and Niederbergheim into the Arnsberg Forest. Marvel at Haus Dassel, a sophisticated Wilhelminian-style villa in the Möhnetal valley, and the Niederbergheim chapel with its origins as an Augustinian monastery. Before you immerse yourself in the forest landscape, enjoy the wonderful views from the Allagen high trail across the Möhnetal to the Liethsteilhang. Immerse yourself in the legendary world of the forest at Borg-hagen, a former castle site. A variety of tree species awaits you with larches, pines, oaks, beeches and predominantly dead spruces as well as windthrow areas with natural reforestation. Listen out for the call of the raven! Then experience the charming Wanne valley with its extensive, extensively used pastures. Treat yourself at the "Wannetal" restaurants at the campsite and at the Loagshof in Niederbergheim.
