Apollo Service Cinema

The Apollo Service Cinema is one of the first deluxe cinemas in Germany. The interior features luxurious furnishings, including designer armchairs that can be individually adjusted. Cushions, footstools and blankets are also available. A service team at the Apollo Cinema guarantees comprehensive support for visitors at the touch of a button.

Wilhelm von der Brake initiated the founding of the cinema in 1924. Four generations later, this tradition reached a remarkable climax with the realization of the Apollo Royal. Following the opening of Germany's first deluxe cinema on the first floor in 2007, Nicole Güldner and her mother Christel set another milestone in the history of German cinemas. The premises of the Apollo Royal offer an ambience that contributes to entertainment through its furnishings. The cinema's original service philosophy, which included the von der Brake family serving drinks and food during screenings as early as 1924, is being continued. Currently, a range of classic cinema snacks and other dishes can be called up via a button. The cinema has won two cinema manager awards in North Rhine-Westphalia; the themed decorations have also won awards.
