The Möhnesee Loop - REMBE-rad-net Pro Cycling™ Sauerland Challenge starts in Voßwinkel and first takes you through Neheim to the Möhnesee. The route runs along well-surfaced roads and offers you a mixture of gentle climbs and flat sections that are ideal for warming up.
The tour takes you further along the southern shore of Lake Möhne, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding nature. The route is varied and includes both leisurely sections and more demanding passages that will challenge your stamina and technique, and
after a lap around the lake you will pass the picturesque villages of Delecke and Körbecke before continuing through the rural surroundings. The route always offers fantastic views and rest stops that make this tour a real pleasure, and
the last few kilometers take you back to Voßwinkel, where the tour comes to an end. This route is perfect for road cyclists looking for a balanced mix of challenge and scenic beauty. Safety guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed throughout the region (Soest district, Hochsauerland district, Märkischer district, Olpe district and Siegen-Wittgenstein district). Rescue points can be found on the information boards at the junctions of the South Westphalia cycle network.
