K2 - Zur Falkenlei in Neuenrade-Küntrop

From the hiking board in the center of Küntrop, we walk up the path "Zum Bornstück" to the "Schlader Weg". There we turn right and walk under the Wellenberg with beautiful views of Küntrop and the surrounding area.At the Welmeckebach stream, we keep left and cross a small bridge over the stream. We follow the course of the stream up to the Hexentanzplatz. From there we circle the Ennest. Here, the K2 runs along the Fuchsweg forest adventure trail, where we pass a wood sawing station where we can saw off and stamp a wooden disk as a souvenir.We then walk around the Falkenlei. The Sauerland-Höhenflug long-distance hiking trail (Qualitätsweg Wanderbares Deutschland) and the Uhuweg forest adventure trail with good views of the Lenne valley also lead here. From the Falkenlei refuge, we continue to the "Schwarzes Kreuz" crossroads.We stay on the Eichhörnchenweg forest adventure trail with charcoal pile and bee hive. We keep left and reach the L842 at a holy house. We have to follow this for a few steps to the left before turning left onto the farm track to the Thanshof and Severinshof farms back to Küntrop. Via "Freientroper Weg" and "Kirchstraße" we arrive back at the hiking sign.In Küntrop, we can stop off at the Mythos-Grill (Garbeck Straße 6 in Neuenrade-Küntrop, tel. 02394 242081).
