The Aussichtsplattform Neuenrade viewing platform above the forest stadium in Neuenrade is located on the N2 hiking trail - circular trail around Neuenrade - and on the forest adventure trails Eichhörnchenweg and Wildschweinweg. The Sauerland-Höhenflug quality trail and the N1 - Roden-Hennes-Weg - lead past the platform just a few meters away.
The viewing platform was newly erected at this location in September 2021. Before that, it stood on the second-highest mountain in Neuenrade, the Großer Attig (512 m above sea level). It was erected there in 2010 from oak wood. After hurricane Kyrill in 2007, only a single group of beech trees remained standing here, offering hikers a wonderful view of Neuenrade and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the view was overgrown a few years later and so the viewing platform was given a new location from which a permanent view is guaranteed.
