At the time of the mining boom (1815-1850), many new tunnels were built. The small-grained ore was transported through these tunnels to the nearby Poch washing plant.
During the Advent season, the Friends of the Sauerland Ramsbeck Visitor Mine set up a nativity scene in the Josephus Adit.
The gallery is located near the Alwine refuge. The hut and the associated barbecue area can be rented from the association.
