The marked route gives visitors the opportunity to retrace the history of mining in Ramsbeck on a hiking trail. The technical processes of ore mining, processing and smelting can be learned about. A total of 38 lecterns and boards have been set up at prominent points along the way. They provide information in text and pictures and explain existing monuments, buildings, tunnels, areas and relics

.

The hiking trail starts at the mining museum and covers a total distance of approx. 10 km. Numerous benches and tables invite you to take a break. You can also walk three sections (see map). All routes lead through the center of Ramsbeck. There are two sections of the route in the Werden area. The trail near the Halden Aufbereitung (Willibald) can only be officially marked later. The reason for this is that work is still being carried out by the former mine operator.

We hope you have fun, enjoy yourself and gain new insights into mining in general and the past in Ramsbeck in particular.
