The Sauerland is a real treasure trove for fans of art: Spread across the region are places where the works of artists from today and the past can be admired. Many an exhibition is housed in a historic building, where the ambience alone creates an extraordinary atmosphere. But completely surprising places also give art a new home - for example, a bus stop becomes a gallery. Forged art and impressive sculptures can also be found in the gardens of their creators' workshops. In some studios, you can watch the artists at work.
