This is a medium-difficulty circular hike with two great highlights. The trail leads directly along the ITH XXL bench (after approx. 2.5 km), which offers a special motif for a souvenir photo. The destination of the hike is the 35 m high Lörmecketurm. The top of the three viewing platforms offers a breathtaking view of the largest contiguous forest area in NRW. The last 3 km lead along a natural path over a bark beetle area back to the parking lot.
