The 5-meter-long and 3-meter-high XXL bench is located on the trail leading to the Lörmecketurm, approximately 2 km from the Plackweg hiking parking lot. The bench invites visitors to linger, as it offers a breathtaking view of Meschede and the Hochsauerland district from up there. In addition, the bench is an attractive photo spot for young and old alike.
The XXL bench was built from PEFC-certified Douglas fir by the Holz Kieseler carpentry shop in Warstein. The bench is sponsored by ITH Schraubtechnik in Meschede and Stadtmarketing Warstein e.V.
The municipal maintenance department prepared the area to ensure safety and installed the 3.5-metric-ton XXL bench.
