The Kinderland cycle route starts in Schmallenberg at the timber and tourism center. There are a few meters of elevation gain on the tour, but the effort is rewarded with great views and many experiences along the way.

The yellow signposting for this route is number 1 (blue) and is shortened via route number 2 (red, behind Almert) from the main route of the Kinderland cycle route .

Along the way, families become explorers. Playgrounds, ponds and pedal pools invite you to take a fun break, streams promise cooling off and a good opportunity to splash around. The adventure of nature beckons everywhere: animals along the way such as horses, goats, donkeys and cows. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of deer, black storks, herons, stags or hares.
