Hike with rustic refreshment stops, which can also be shortened without any problems. The tour leads from the Altenbürener Mühle hiking parking lot above the Glenne in a loop to the gates of Rixen, then back to the starting point at the Altenbürener Mühle.

Directions

From the Altenbürener Mühle hiking parking lot, follow the AB2 towards Glennefurt. From the signpost "Am Stotenberg" follow the triangle. After the path crosses the River Glenne, follow the gravel farm track to the right for approx. 2 km in the direction of Rixen. After the sewage treatment plant, turn right again and follow the diamond sign for a short distance until you see the Glennefurt with the wooden bridge in front of you. Above this, the path leads onto the A6, which runs along a forest path behind the Altenbürener Mühle for approx. 1 km to Sonnenknapp. At the fork, continue right to the asphalt road and join the X1, which you follow to the right back to the Altenbürener Mühle hiking parking lot.
