The ten-kilometre A 5 circular route starts at the BördeTherme thermal baths and leads west past the elementary school and Quellenhof clinic through the fields with a view of the Soest church silhouette to the district of Heppen.
From there, it continues north through the Sieningsen settlement to the district of Weslarn. The St. Urban Protestant Church, the second oldest hall church in the district of Soest, is worth a visit here.
If you like, descend here and follow the signposted tour, where you can learn some interesting facts about the village.
From the Schlotmann mill, an overgrown path runs along the Rosenau, idyllically surrounded by mighty trees. Information boards along the way describe life by the river and in the forest. If you look and listen carefully, you are sure to discover many of the plants and animals featured. The trail leads to the K5 and on to the "Am Gemkerhof" forest area, back to the spa gardens and the BördeTherme thermal baths.
Trail conditions: asphalted farm tracks, paved paths in the spa park, approx. 2 km natural trail;
Refreshments: at the start/end of the tour
