A3 Wenden - Schönau - Dörnschlade

The A3 hiking trail in Wendener Land is a varied circular tour of around 13 kilometers in length, which leads through the charming landscape around Wenden, Schönau and Dörnschlade. The route is mostly on natural paths and offers beautiful views over the gentle heights of the Sauerland. The historic Dörnschlade pilgrimage chapel, which is idyllically situated on a ridge, is particularly worth seeing. In addition to quiet forest passages, the trail also leads across open areas and along striking vantage points. Thanks to the good signposting, the A3 is ideal for a relaxed yet varied hike in a largely car-free environment
