If you love the wind in your face or whizzing down a meadow on a toboggan in winter, you can enjoy this feeling of freedom and speed on the Willingen summer toboggan run at any time of year. The drag lift takes you high up. After 250 meters, the toboggan is automatically released and the 700-meter-long descent begins with a wonderful view of the Willingen mountains.
Eleven rapid curves, three jumps and several long straights guarantee variety and fun - even in wet conditions. Each guest decides for themselves whether they want to enjoy a quiet toboggan ride or have the wind blowing in their face at speeds of up to 40 km/h. If you want to share the fun, you can toboggan in pairs. Children from the age of eight can take the controls on their own.
Once you reach the finish line, the automatic camera system with speed measurement provides a great souvenir photo.
The 1100-metre-long
mountain cart track has also recently been offering a speedy descent. After the ascent on the
Ritzhagen 6-seater
chairlift, which hikers are also welcome to use, you can whizz down the slope on the three-wheeled fun sports equipment - great fun for all generations. Children from the age of ten or a height of 1.35 meters can ride alone or an adult can simply take their offspring on their cart.
The playground with a six-field trampoline, slide house, nest swing, climbing and balancing games and mini excavator makes children's hearts beat faster.
Special attractions of the small leisure world in the middle of nature are the 60-meter-long wooden ball track, which gets young and old moving, and the summer tubing track. This giant tyre slide is safe for children from the age of three.
When hunger strikes after so much fun and fresh mountain air, the modern alpine ski and toboggan hut "
Einkehrschwung" right next door is the perfect place for a cosy break.
When winter arrives in Upland, the Rummel family welcomes skiers and tobogganists to the Ritzhagen 6-seater chairlift and conveyor belt as well as the neighbouring Sonnenlift. Weather permitting, the summer toboggan run may run parallel to the ski operation. If there is no snow, tobogganing takes place anyway.
