From the small mountain village of Jagdhaus, it’s not far to this beautiful, sunny spot. Follow the Großer Heidkopfweg—a loop trail around Jagdhaus (J3)—and, right at the end of the village, take a short detour to the left onto the Rothaarsteig to reach this cozy lookout point: Make yourself comfortable in the wooden hammock and watch as the rising sun glimmers over the mountains of the Rothaar Range.

Getting There You cannot drive directly to the village. Please use the Jagdhaus hiking parking lot. Parking Free parking is available at the Jagdhaus hiking parking lot (at the edge of town when coming from Fleckenberg).
