Excessive game populations are eating up the mix in the majority of Germany's forests or damaging the vitality of the trees by stripping the bark. Foresters and hunters must work together to ensure a balance between forest and game and shoot enough roe deer and stags so that a healthy, species-rich mixed forest can develop.

How to get there The station is not accessible by car. Use the Wendebereich hiking parking lot or the parking lot at the village hall and walk to the station via the forest workers' and foresters' trail.
