The Wasserschloß Wocklum is located between Balve and Beckum in the Orlebachtal valley. It has been owned by various noble families since the 14th century and has been inhabited by the Landsberg-Velen family since 1656.
The Balve Optimum horse show has been held on the grounds since 1948.
