The Schützenplatz parking lot is located on the outskirts of Bad Fredeburg in the "Schützenstraße" below the Homberg. The Sauerland-Höhenflug runs directly over the Schützenplatz and continues through the Kurpark to the town center to the church and then up to Buchhagen in the direction of Reiste. If you continue from here in the direction of Altastenberg, you first hike up the Homberg and come to a beautiful panoramic trail above Holthausen. At the Schützenplatz, there are information boards providing information about the Höhenflug, local hiking trails and places to stop for refreshments.
