The Nordhelle, 662.7 m above sea level, is the highest elevation of the Ebbegebirge in western Sauerland, and lies between Meinerzhagen (Valbert district) and the Ebbe community of Herscheid.

Nordhelle in western Sauerland is a popular excursion destination, especially for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys being out and about in the great outdoors. An extensive network of hiking trails offers amateur and professional hikers many opportunities to discover the region. The popular Sauerland-Höhenflug long-distance hiking trail also crosses the Nordhelle with the Robert-Kolb-Turm, which can also be climbed.
A restaurant up here invites you to stop for a bite to eat, while the playground not far away also offers younger nature lovers an entertaining stay.
Nordhelle is also a popular excursion destination in winter, allowing you to stroll through the Sauerland winter landscape. If there is enough snow, there is also a groomed cross-country ski trail, the Ebbekammloipe, which can be used by all cross-country skiing enthusiasts.
