In the middle of the forest in the "Neuen Hahn" hiking area is a summit cross, which marks the highest point in Kierspe at 553.8 m above sea level. This summit cross is clearly visible from the path at the start of a shelter. Very close to the summit cross is a seating area directly at a crossroads. This bench/table combination invites you to linger and take a break from your hike or bike tour. Hikers and cyclists can immortalize themselves in the summit book, which is located in a letterbox there, and leave nice words during their rest.
