Museum of the town of Marsberg
Eresburgstr. 38
34431 Marsberg
Telephone: 02992 1281
The museum is a place where history comes alive, touches people, makes them empathize and sometimes even amazes them.
Earth history, mining and history and thus the development of the town are important for the Marsberg region. These three focal points can be combined and related to each other in a unique way.
Knowledge of the history of the earth with its mineral resources and the shaping of the landscape helps to see the history of mining, settlement and the town in context and to illustrate the interdependence in an exemplary manner.
