Lenne spring
Nature conservation area/natural monument
A beautiful path leads you to the source of the Lenne, which rises on the summit of the Kahler Asten.
Properties:
The water gushes out of the mountain just ten meters below the Asten summit. From there, the Lenne flows through the Schmallenberg Sauerland and the Olpe district. It is the most water-rich and therefore most important tributary of the Ruhr. After around 130 kilometers, it flows into the Ruhr near Hagen.
