The trail has several stations that aim to provide suggestions on how you can do something for your physical and mental health in nature. Landscape therapy is part of the so-called "new nature therapies" and as such is very well suited to having a preventative effect on physical and mental health.
The landscape therapy trail takes you from station to station. However, you are not bound to the prescribed route. You can just as easily find your own way or just visit individual stations. Or visit the stations that are particularly good for you again and again!

Before the last stage of the Landscape Therapy Trail, take a look at the Altstadt of Brilon. Take in the roof gables and towers of this historic town. Perhaps you will develop a feeling of respect for the history of this town and your interest in the people and their history in this region will be awakened. Now take the path along the stepped water basins. Linger on their banks and allow yourself to be guided by a few thoughts: Have you ever realized how important water is to our lives. Consciously listen to the sounds of the water here. What does the rippling of the water sound like, the whispering of the wind in the trees on the bank? Take a closer look at the water, it reflects the sky, but also the everyday life on the shore. Water is a symbol of life. We humans also come from the water and are largely made up of water. If we follow the path of water, we can see how it rises into the atmosphere and revitalizes the earth as rain. The water must go into the depths in order to find its way back to the surface, purified and clear, and emerge into the daylight as a new source. This eternal cycle of Werden and decay determines our lives. Take the contemplation of water as an opportunity to listen to yourself and to continue on the path of life in a new and strengthened way, aware of what is important to you.
