Kneipp Adventure Park

Always along the Kneipp Active Trail and the Ruhr and Gierskopp rivers, the feel-good route leads to the Kneipp herb garden. Feeling, smelling and tasting are expressly encouraged here and in the neighboring orchard . The route continues to the historic Dr. Grüne Kneipp Park with a Kneipp facility incorporated into a pond, a barefoot path and relaxation islands. You can also linger and relax in the town center at the landscape point between the Ruhr and the Gierskoppbach, called the OlsbergEck, or outside the town center at the renaturalized Ruhrauen and at the Lebensgarten of the Josefsheim Bigge. The focus is on the power of water at the natural water treading area in the Gierskoppbach "Jump over the water" or at the arm pools in front of the tourist information office . In the generation park and the exercise trail , young and old can enjoy outdoor exercise.
