Kappe Express - Kappe Adventure Mountain

The Kappe Express runs several times a day between Winterberg’s Marktplatz and Erlebnisberg Kappe, passing by the town’s various sights along the way. Guests can choose to take the train as a round-trip journey or make a stop at Erlebnisberg Kappe to enjoy the activities offered there. There are several stops along the route.

The train sets off at a leisurely pace. On this relaxed ride through the streets of Winterberg, there’s plenty to see and discover. The large panoramic windows guarantee an unobstructed view for every passenger. Young and old alike can watch the hustle and bustle of the town from here. The train itself is also an eye-catcher as it travels through Winterberg in its bright red color.

The ride takes passengers past the town’s various sights, and announcements in German and Dutch provide guests with plenty of interesting background information. The tour lasts about 45 minutes. The train driver safely transports guests from one place to another and is the right person to contact for any questions or issues. With the exception of the single-ride ticket, all tickets are day passes. This means passengers can get on and off at any time. A total of 48 seats are available. The Kappe Express runs daily from approximately April through October.
