The Drüggelte Chapel was built in the 12th century - presumably by crusaders - based on the model of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. However, it is believed that the site was a pagan place of worship long before this time. Today, the chapel is a destination for many visitors interested in culture. The circular building with its columns, capitals and three Romanesque vaults tells (architectural) history and arouses emotions.
