The museum displays a bedroom and living room from the 19th century as well as farming and craft tools from earlier times. Village life is also depicted in words and pictures and testimonies of faith are exhibited in pictures, books and writings. A photo documentation shows the destruction of Altenbüren at the end of the Second World War.

Open from March - June and September - December, on the first Sunday from 2 - 5 pm or by appointment
