The station building, built in 1912, is located on the Menden-Neuenrade line. On the one hand, the station was used for tourist traffic to the nearby Reckenhöhle cave, and on the other, the lime mined in the Binolen area was transported from here. The line is still used regularly today. There is a mechanical signal box in the building. Otherwise, the station is used for cultural purposes.
