The house was originally built as "Badehaus 1". The spa administration was established here in 1925, replacing the old bathhouse. As the headquarters for spa development, the spa directors planned Bad Sassendorf's expansion into a health resort from here. It was rebuilt and renovated in 1965 under the new name "Haus des Kurgastes".
Today, the "Haus des Gastes" is the most important point of contact for all spa, vacation and day guests as a "guest information point", where they can obtain information on the wide range of offers in the town. For information, call 02921-9433456.
