Surrounded by greenery and yet almost in the center of Winterberg: the Kur- und Vitalpark. It offers wide meadows, walking paths, birdsong and a variety of insects for those seeking peace and quiet, who want to slow down and relax. There is also a large children's playground below the Oversum with swings, slides and seesaw animals. There are courses for balancing, ropeways and sand. Minigolf, billiard golf, an outdoor chess and Ludo game, intergenerational play equipment and water games - the list goes on.
In between, there are small oases of peace with seating and views of nature. A meadow orchard and originally placed works of art from the "Ein Herz für Winterberg" campaign offer a great mix, a meeting place for young and old.
Thanks to the music summer, there are concerts for every taste in the concert shell almost every weekend from May to September.
Even in winter, the Kurpark is a popular destination. Even the little ones can go tobogganing and build snowmen on the large areas. In both summer and winter, the restaurants always offer a place to stop for a bite to eat.
