Cooperation with the SauerlandRadring extended
Sparkassen Mitten im Sauerland and Attendorn-Lennestadt-Kirchhundem remain partners
It stands for relaxed touring cycling enjoyment on old railroad lines with a number of cultural highlights and a wide selection of restaurants - it is not without reason that the SauerlandRadring is one of the most popular cycle routes in the Sauerland. The 124-kilometre circular tour, including the HenneseeSchleife loop, leads through Schmallenberg, Lennestadt, Finnentrop, Eslohe and Meschede.
Those responsible for tourism will continue to receive support for their work from the Sparkassen Mitten im Sauerland and Attendorn-Lennestadt-Kirchhundem, which extended their sponsorship commitment at a joint meeting.
"The SauerlandRadring is an absolute driving force for cycling tourism in the Sauerland and is popular with holidaymakers and locals alike," explains Peter Vogt, member of the board at Sparkasse Mitten im Sauerland. "It is therefore a matter of course for us to contribute to the long-term preservation and continuous optimization with our support." A mutually beneficial collaboration is thus being extended, ensuring a high quality of service for all cycling enthusiasts in the long term.
"With the savings banks here in the region, we have had reliable partners at our side since the opening in 2007. We look forward to the coming years of close cooperation," emphasizes Ludwig Rasche, first alderman of the municipality of Finnentrop and representative in the SauerlandRadring working group, which coordinates the tourism cooperation of the participating municipalities with the support of volunteer members.
