The Biggesee Express (RB 92) takes day-trippers to the vacation and leisure area around the Biggesee every hour. Our tip: Combine a visit to the Atta-Höhle in Attendorn with a boat trip on the Biggesee.
Once you arrive at the train station in Attendorn, the Atta-Höhle can be reached via a 7-minute walk. A guided tour through the easily accessible cave takes around 40 minutes. The temperature in the Atta-Höhle is a constant 9°C. Every day. 365 times a year. Summer and winter.

If your stomach is rumbling afterwards, the Atta-Höhle has a very special group offer for you: tasting the unique Atta cheese. A particularly tasty cheese matures in the cave. It is the peace and quiet and the climate that give it its special aroma. The cheese matures for almost 3 months at a constant 95% humidity in the cave passages of Attendorn. Conditions that cannot be created artificially.
With the Biggolino to the boat landing stage and to the Skywalk Biggeblick
The Biggolino, which stops directly in front of the Atta-Höhle, transports you between the cave and the Biggedamm landing stage every hour.
During a boat trip, you can enjoy the lake and experience nature from a different perspective. And if you prefer to get up high, you can take a walk to the Aussichtsplattform Biggeblick and enjoy the beautiful view over the Biggesee.
From the Kraghammer train stop (2 km from the boat landing stage), the Biggesee Express (RB 92) will take you back towards Olpe or Attendorn/Finnentrop.

You can reach Attendorn via the Biggesee Express train line, which runs between Finnentrop and Olpe. In Finnentrop you have a connection to the regional express ( Essen - Hagen - Finnentrop - Altenhundem - Siegen ).
