The tour runs along the eastern edge of the Winterberg Hochmulde. Starting from Hildfeld, 1987 state gold village in the competition "Our village should become more beautiful", over the heights that form the watershed between the Rhine and Weser, past historic boundary stones on the state border between NRW and Hessen, through the nature reserve "Neuer Hagen" with a beautiful Hochheide.

This hike is particularly enjoyable when the heather is in bloom and the berries are ripe! On the Clemensberg we enjoy a panoramic view of Winterberg to the west, Hildfeld and Grönebach and to the east of the Langenberg, the highest mountain in Westfalen.

From Winterberg take the S40 bus to Niedersfeld, from Niedersfeld take the S30 bus to Hildfeld.

How to get there
From Winterberg by car via the B480 and K49 towards Grönebach, then via the L872 towards Hildfeld.
