Soul place hike " Am Kahlen" from Medebach

The 5.8 km hike starts at the market square in Medebach.First we walk up Oberstraße on the left, where we turn left into Glindfelder Weg at Bäckerei Isken. Then turn left again into the path "Am Kahlen". Follow the x 13 slightly uphill along the old Hanseweg to the top of the Kahlen.Once at the top, the Kahlenkapelle chapel in the middle of the forest welcomes hikers and invites them to relax and take a break. This is the highest point of the Baroque Way of the Cross, which was laid out by monks from Glindfeld Monastery. At the small burial chapel below the Kahlenkapelle chapel, you can enjoy an impressive view of the monastery lying in the valley and its mountainous surroundings.Now follow a small path downhill until you reach the Philosopher's Path, then follow the path to the right and continue along the M1. The monks already walked the small paths and philosophized about the next sermon. Follow the M1 along the edge of the forest back to the Hanseatic town of Medebach.
