- Circular route
Schützenhalle Mülheim, Peterbache 51, 59581 Warstein-Mülheim
Skywalk Möhnetal and then back to the starting point
The circular tour from the Mülheim district is a hilly tour and mainly along country lanes, with only short sections with car traffic. It leads along the outskirts of Mülheim, Waldhausen, Taubeneiche, Allagen, Niederbergheim and Sichtigvor.
The Skywalk Möhnetal offers a magnificent view over the Möhnetal valley.
The way back is easy via the MöhnetalRadweg.
The cycle tour starts at the Schützenhalle in Mülheim. Cycle north along Peterbache, at the end turn right onto von Plettenbergstraße and follow the right-hand path to Haarweg. Turn left here and take the first tarred road on the right up to the end. Turn left again until the path meets St. Barbara-Straße. Turn right here for approx. 20m and then immediately left again to the end of the road. Here we can turn right again until the path meets the L748. Then turn left and right again opposite the pigsty on the left. At the end of the path, turn left again and then right at the end (Bemmelpfad). Turn left down the next path (Kalköfen industrial estate), turn right at the crossroads (staggered 5-way junction) and then left. At the end of the road, turn left into Haslachweg, then right into Goesmannsweg. At the end, turn right up Udenstraße. After the last building, turn left into the path (Oelmannsberg) to the Skywalk Möhnetal, after a stop at the Skywalk continue along Oelmannsberg until the junction with the B516. Turn left onto the B516, leave the B516 at the traffic lights and go straight across the junction onto Sauerlandstraße. After approx. 100m, after crossing the Möhne, turn left onto the MöhnetalRadweg. You will pass through the districts of Allagen and Sichtigvor. Approx. 1 km after Sichtigvor station and the historic railroad carriage, turn left onto the path at a bench and signpost "Mülheim Battle". Cycle carefully or dismount here, narrow path with a tight bend. You cross the Möhne over a narrow bridge and follow the path to the end, where you turn left into the road "Zum LIethof", which then leads onto the B516, turn right a few meters and then left again into Peterbache back to the starting point.Tour suggested by: Rita Cordes
