The "Kloster Oelinghausen" circular trail mostly leads through open meadows but also through high forest. There are several short, steep climbs on this circular route.
The Oelinghausen monastery can be reached by car from the A46/Hüsten-Herdringen exit. Continue in the direction of Herdringen/Holzen on the K 2 and L264 until you reach the Oelinghausen junction. You can park your car there free of charge. Hikers can enjoy some beautiful views from the heights.
