The mostly asphalted circular trail leads through meadows and pastures and along the edge of the forest with relatively gentle inclines. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the old Hanseatic town of Medebach.
Families with children in particular can experience a lot along the way!
- In the Hasenkammer, you can take a detour to the Hasenkammer motor skills trail. The access path is located between the two farms.
- The lookout tower on the AVENTURA SpielBerg beckons from afar! So let's get there! The best way to get there is via the small discovery trail, which also starts in the Hasenkammer. Look out for the signs with the Medebach mountain dwarf, they will show you the way.
- There are plenty of activities at Center Parcs Hochsauerland, how about a round of mini golf or a visit to the petting zoo, for example? Follow the cycle path to the hiking board, from there you can quickly reach the Market Dome at Center Parcs.
- Things are quieter at Weddelsee. It is also very close by, at the corner of Hengsbecke turn into the street "Am Weddel".
- You can reach the nearby Oberntor playground by turning the corner of Hengsbecke into Bahnhofstraße.

Directions
The circular route is signposted throughout with the black/white trail marker M3 (hiking trail: Kuckucksuhlenweg M3).From the starting point at the market square, the trail leads through Hinterstraße, Weddelstraße, Vopeliusstraße, then uphill at the corner of Kampstraße (at the garden market) towards Weddel. The tour leaves the asphalt road and continues to the left along a gravel path below the Winterkopf, then turns left onto the asphalt path towards Kuckucksuhle. We follow the road past the campsite/holiday farm in the Hasenkammer on the left, with the AVENTURA and Center Parcs on the right.The route ends back at the market square via Hengsbecke, Beckmannstraße and Weddelstraße.

- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then to Medebach.
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach.
- From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Medebach.
