Chapel of the Holy Family (Schinkenwirt) - sound and silence
Leave St. Nikolaus at the disabled side entrance and turn right onto Kirchstraße, directly behind the parking lot turn left into Wulweseike. (Kurterrainweg 5), then into Drönkerweg, Briloner Tor, through the railroad tunnel to the right. Walk parallel to the railroad line until Kurterrainweg 5 forks. Turn left here and 100 meters further left onto a gravel forest path, which you follow uphill to the right in the area of a bend. 250 meters after the turnpike, turn right onto the natural SGV hiking trail A4, which you follow to your destination, the chapel Zur Heiligen Familie. Enjoy the tranquillity and contemplation of the forest with its ever-changing beautiful views.
The way back leads downhill via the road, where you take the Kurterrainweg 4 back to St. Nikolaus.
