Welcome to WOOHOO on Sorpesee.

Our WOOHOO is located on the shores of Sorpesee, which winds its way for 8 kilometers through the idyllic Sorpetal. Here at WOOHOO, families, corporate and school groups, hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers come together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Our base, featuring a lakeside terrace and Biergarten, serves as the hub for WOOHOO’s many activities—and as a gathering spot for young and old alike. We offer activities that’ll work up an appetite: climbing on the high ropes course, canoeing, archery, biking, and much more. Afterward, recharge with delicious snacks and drinks—sometimes accompanied by live music.

During NRW school breaks: Mon–Sun and holidays, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

Outside of the NRW school breaks: Tue–Sun and holidays, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. (Monday by request)

Dining

During NRW school breaks

Bar: Mon–Sun and holidays, 12 PM–8 PM

Dining: Tues–Thurs, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, and Fri–Sun, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM

Outside of school breaks: Fri–Sun and holidays, 12 p.m.–8 p.m.

Starting in 2026: Bike rentals here will be limited to e-MTBs only.
Additional bike rentals available at the new location: Zum Sorpedamm 19 in Langscheid.
