Willingen spa garden

Willingen's spa park was created in the 1950s and is located in the center of the village, accessible from three sides. Small but beautiful, it has always been affectionately called the "spa garden" by the people of Willingen.
Old trees, birdsong, leisurely walking paths with benches, flowering beds, a natural stream and the duck pond invite you to stroll and relax. The spa garden is popular with guests and locals alike. The beautiful grounds serve as a romantic backdrop for wedding photos, while children collect chestnuts in autumn or go sledging on the small slope.
Events take place regularly in front of the concert shell, such as the popular Kneipp and herb market every year at the end of July.

Under the motto "Art in the Park", Upland artists exhibit their works in the "Kurgarten-Treffpunkt". Various painting and drawing techniques, ceramics, jewelry, digital art, textile works and wood art are presented as part of a permanent exhibition. Admission is free. There are numerous wooden sculptures to discover in the outdoor area.

As a climatic health resort and Kneipp spa, Willingen has several Kneipp facilities, one of which is located in the center of the spa garden. Water treatments are the most frequently used elements of the Kneipp cure. These include Kneipp watering and treading water, which promote blood circulation. Just give it a try.
