VolmeFreizeitPark

The VolmeFreizeitPark is a public leisure park for families, adults and children. A leisure park has been created on the available space, which includes sports, leisure and event facilities.

The renaturalized Volme flows through the VolmeFreizeitPark grounds, which is a great opportunity for children in particular to cool off and play by the water.

Lots of seating, a wide range of sporting activities (skating rink, slackline, outdoor fitness equipment or parcour poles, table tennis tables, turntables and trampolines) offer visitors a varied day at the VolmeFreizeitPark in Kierspe.

The VolmeFreizeitPark is located directly on the B54 at the end of Kierspe in the direction of Meinerzhagen. Kierspe is easily accessible by car via the Autobahn 45 - Meinerzhagen/Kierspe exit, the B54, the B237 and the L528.

By public transport, Kierspe can be reached from Dortmund by taking the regional train 52 to Lüdenscheid-Brügge and then changing to bus lines 58, 59 or 82 of the Märkische Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) to Kierspe/ZOB. From Cologne, the route to Kierspe is by regional train 25 to Meinerzhagen, from there by bus line 58 to Kierspe/ZOB. From there, the VolmeFreizeitPark is within walking distance.

An information board at the edge of the park provides information about other leisure destinations in the region.
