The Velmede swimming pool invites visitors to take a dip in its new stainless-steel pool. Thanks to the installation of appropriate accessibility features (including a wheelchair-accessible staircase into the pool and a lift system), people with physical disabilities now have the opportunity to go swimming in Velmede. In addition to floor jets, massage jets, and waterfall jets, the pool is also equipped with underwater spotlights. In the summer, the outdoor area can be used as a sunbathing lawn. Thesolariumis available during the swimming pool’s operating hours.
During school vacations, the opening hours (which differ from the regular schedule) are specifically tailored to children and families.
Children’s birthday partiescan also be celebrated in and around the cabin on the play and sunbathing lawn.
Aqua-Fit:Exercise classes for pregnant women and postnatal recovery.
Swimming lessons:Held regularly outside of school breaks for children ages 4 and up, as well as for adults.
Breakfast Swim:Enjoy breakfast in the pool with friendly people in a relaxed atmosphere.

Business hours
The gym and swimming pool at Ostenberg in Velmede will be closed from Monday, November 10,
2025, through Sunday, November 16, 2025. Construction work is scheduled there to reroute utility lines.
It is open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for family swimming; the time from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is reserved for family swimming for those 18 and older. On Wednesdays, the family pool is open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
