Take a look behind the scenes at the Warsteiner Brewery!
As one of Europe’s most modern breweries, the Warsteiner Brewery was deliberately designed from the very beginning to be visitor-friendly. This offers you the unique opportunity to take a close look over the shoulders of the Warstein brewers.

Discover the 270-year-old brewing tradition in the Warstein World. With over 200 exhibits, the brand exhibition showcases highlights from the brand’s impressive history. Old barrels, glasses, and bottles, along with labels and advertising motifs, tell the story of the brand’s early beginnings and its current successes. The impressive gable wall displays more than 1,000 historic bottles. Absolute highlights include the Arrows race car on display and artwork by Andy Warhol.

Your brewery tour begins in the unique 360° multimedia theater. What makes it special: An electronically controlled rotating platform moves guests directly to the current scenes, so you’re always “right in the middle” of the action and immersed in the story.

Afterward, you’ll ride the visitor train through the brewery and experience the brewing process up close. You’ll travel through the brewhouse, past fermentation tanks, see the bottling process, and witness how the beer is loaded onto rail cars—because Warstein has its own rail spur. A modern onboard information system explains everything you need to know through text and images on large flat-screen displays.

After the tour comes the “product test”: Following the tour, you’ll spend two hours sampling complimentary beverages from the Warsteiner portfolio. The Warsteiner crew will be happy to tell you all about the different beer varieties.
The tour (excluding the tasting) lasts approximately 75 minutes and is available in multiple languages (German, Dutch, English).

The brewery tour is also particularly accessible for guests with disabilities. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the beautiful Biergarten surrounded by greenery.
You’ll find unique souvenirs in the Warsteiner Shop, which is open during brewery tours. Warsteiner Welt, including the Warsteiner Shop, is also open to guests who aren’t taking a tour. You can also stay overnight at the guesthouse in Waldpark, right next to Warsteiner Welt.
