The Schwermecke Hiking Parking Lot is located in Stockum at the end of the Schwermecke Valley. The parking lot is the perfect starting point for various hiking trails through the Sauerland Siebengebirge. Its proximity to the village makes it an ideal spot to stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants after a hike.

Along the 3 km of this themed trail, 40 information panels provide details about the local trees and shrubs. This family-friendly hiking trail, much of which is elevated, allows visitors to explore the diversity of the Sauerland’s flora.
