The climbing area comprises around 35 climbing routes with difficulty levels from UIAA 3 to 8, with the focus on the middle range (UIAA 5-6). The routes are between 12 and 18 meters long and are consistently well to very well secured with bolts, which makes for a safe climbing experience.
The area was set up between 2010 and 2012 by the Gummersbach section of the German Alpine Club, which still looks after and maintains the crag today.
The climbing crag is freely accessible all year round. However, visitors are asked to leave the forest before sunset and not to enter the protected rock faces in order to protect nature and habitats.
Access
The easiest access is via the parking lot at the junction of the "In der Bunne" road directly on the Lister. From there, the path leads to the right of the stream past the sewage treatment plant and into the forest. After passing two vacation homes, you will reach the crag after about 10-15 minutes. The climbing area is on the right-hand side of a meadow.
