Swimming is healthy and keeps you fit—take advantage of this and dive into our diverse pool area. You can swim laps in the swimmers’ pool (Vario Pool). The adventure pool is the perfect place to unwind. The built-in massage jets and neck showers help you relieve stress. In the Kneipp foot bath, health comes first. The cold water and special floor stimulate circulation and leave you feeling great.

Relaxation in a Spacious Sauna Area

Experience a touch of luxury in our spacious sauna area. All saunas are crafted from solid logs of Finnish polar spruce, creating a particularly pleasant indoor climate. Choose between a fully equipped traditional Sauerland slate sauna in the outdoor area, a steam sauna, a large Finnish infusion sauna, a health-promoting salt sauna with a Gradierwerk, and a special light sauna that provides additional relaxation. Treat your body to a short rest afterward. You’ll find soothing relaxation in our relaxation room with a fireplace, in the foot bath area with heated benches, or on the lounge chairs outside the sauna. A separate room offering massage and beauty treatments rounds out the experience.

Slides are a blast

The “Magic Eye” slide is a tube slide and guarantees fun for the whole family. The “Magic Eye” has an internal width of 2.50 meters and a height of just 1.40 meters. Thanks to this unique geometry, you can slide through the tightest of turns using single or double tubes. In addition, the SauerlandBAD features a turbo slide. On this high-speed slide, speeds of 50 to 70 km/h can be reached. Here, too, fun is guaranteed.

The Wave Outdoor Pool: A Must-Visit in Summer

The SauerlandBAD in Bad Fredeburg also includes the wave pool in Schmallenberg, located on a spacious site directly behind the town hall. At the only wave pool in the Sauerland region, you’ll find, among other things, a 25-meter lap pool with 1-, 3-, and 5-meter diving platforms, a large wave pool, a toddler pool with a sandbox, a volleyball court, a chess area, and large sunbathing lawns.
